Paver Pro Unlimited takes
2-0 lead over Lady Blue Jays in Women’s Class D

 

OKLAHOMA CITY – Paver Pro Unlimited of Fort Myers, Fla., is one win away from capturing the Women’s Class D Slow Pitch title at the 2007 Hooter’s Championship Series at Hall of Fame Stadium.

 

Paver Pro Unlimited powered past the Lady Blue Jays of San Antonio by scoring 16 runs in two games, winning 5-4 and 11-2.

 

Marsiela Gutierrez of Naples, Fla., knocked in four runs on Friday for Paver Pro, including three in the second game. In the fourth inning of the second game, Guiterrez knocked in two runs off a triple, giving Paver Pro some insurance runs to work with.

 

Jodi Foye, also of Naples, Fla., contributed to the effort with three runs off two hits in the second game.

 

The Lady Blue Jays will look to extend the series Saturday at 8:30 a.m. With a victory, the Lady Blue Jays would stay alive in the best of five series and force a Game 4 at 11:30 a.m. and, if necessary, Game 5 at 5:30 p.m.
